Ingredients >>
Pastry for 2 crust pie
5 fresh pears, peeled, cored and sliced (not too thin)
2 Tbs lemon juice
½ C granulated sugar
½ C brown sugar
½ C chopped walnuts (optional)
3 Tbs flour
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp ginger
2 Tbs butter
Instructions >>
- Sprinkle sliced pears with lemon juice.
- Combine dry ingredients and toss with pears until coated.
- Place in pastry shell and dot with butter.
- Make lattice or full top crust with vents.
